Top 10 Instagrammable Places in Chicago

I had so much fun during my most recent trip to Chicago! I haven’t been to Chicago since High School, so exploring the windy city was still fairly new to me. Chicago is known for many things: from their die hard sports fans, to large museums, to their delicious food! But Chicago is also one of the most photogenic places in the world- from its street murals to its unique architecture, Chicago has beautiful views almost everywhere you turn!

SKY DECK- I have actually heard mixed reviews about visiting the Sky Deck at the Willis Tower. Some people think you can get a better view at Cindy’s restaurant, or The Hancock Tower for a cheaper price. Although, that could possibly be true. The sky deck at the Willis tower is the only observatory deck that includes a glass balcony extending 4.3 feet outside the building. Therefore, you will get the best photo ops. at the Willis Tower!

ARCHITECTURE RIVER CRUISE– An Architecture River Cruise is the perfect way to unwind and relax, while learning about the unique Skyscrapers. The views and angles of the buildings from the boat are far more Instagram worthy, than off the boat.

CLOUD GATE- Millennium park is a beautiful place to walk around, maybe rent some bikes and enjoy the beautiful sculptures. Cloud Gate, or in other words, “The Bean” is basically the Chicago icon. The Bean is normally very crowded. This photo was captured at 6am to beat the crowds! #beantheredonethat Here is the address- 201 E Randolph St, Chicago, IL 60602

BUCKINGHAM FOUNTAIN– The Buckingham fountain is one of the largest fountains in the world! You will get so many fun photos at this location. Try using portrait mode to blur out the fountain and the skyscrapers in the background! Here is the address- 301 S Columbus Dr, Chicago, IL 60605

CHICAGO THEATRE SIGN- You can’t visit Chicago without taking your picture in front of the famous Chicago Theatre! Who knows, you might even want to catch a show! Here is the address– 175 N State St, Chicago, IL 60601

LINCOLN PARK CONSERVATORY– The Lincoln Park Conservatory displays exotic plants from around the world, housed in a Victorian Era glass building. Everywhere you turn, there are beautiful views of towering palms, tropical flowers, or ancient ferns.

CHICAGO RIVER WALK– Capture some photos on some of the bridges viewing the Chicago river walk. The buildings, bridge and river make the perfect back drop!

THE HAMPTON SOCIAL– The Hampton Social is one of my favorite restaurants in Chicago! Check out the cute decor, and get your picture under the pink neon “Rosé all day” sign!

FLAMINGO MURAL– Now for some fun street art photos! I accidentally stumbled upon the Flamingo mural on my way to Limitless Coffee and Tea. I couldn’t resist the photo op.! I’ll make it easier for you, by giving you the address!– 601 N Wells St, Chicago, IL 60654

PIZZA PARLOR- Another fun mural is just outside of Pizza Parlor restaurant! Order some delicious pizza, and snag a photo on your way out!– 108 N Green St, Chicago, IL 60607
